Again it was the Iack of 'finishing off' that cost them the game. Despite having at least as much of the play as 'Ching' and rnaking a good number of excellent changes - Shoppers were unable to put the bIail in the oppositions net. This was a well played game by two fine teams both showlng ex- cellent skills and the dif- ference being that 'Ching' took advantage of the few chances they did get. Hall time 1-0. Despite being two goals down at haif-time in the semi-final - Sbop- pers stormed biack with three goals in the later stages to defeat Cam- bridge 3-2. Scoring for Turul in this game were Patrice Pare, Joey Ian- tomasi and Dean Mzen with the winner. In preliminary round games - Shoppers Drug Mart defeated Malton 4- i with goals by Mike Konopaski, Joey Ian- tomaski, Jay Bricknell, Andrew Kamondy (penalty). Shoppers defeated Streetsville 2-1 on goals by Andrew Kamondy, Kevin Jones and Amhurst 7-0 on goals by Patrice Pare (4), Vince Accardi, Joey - Ian- tomasi and Jason Cramne.
