Free Press Staff Photo Whitby to host Women 's sailing regatta Some of the top woman sailors in the province are expected ta con- verge on the Whitby Yacht Club this weekend for tha 1986 Ontario Women's Single and Double- Handed Champlonships. According to Peter Jones of the Ontario Saffing Association, they are anticipating at least 40 entrias competing in three classes, Lasers, Laser II's and Albacores. Jones said the sallors wil be racing on triangulai- courses wbich wli be set off tbe mouth of the Whitby Harbour on Saturday and Sunday accordlag to the wind con- ditions. Albacores and Laser I1's, botb two-man boats, willi start together with handicaps and the single-handad Lasers will be star- ted separately. Depending on the waather, there wili probably ta five or six races run over the cour- se of the weekend, saud Jones, of which the racers wiil t allowed to drop their worst finish before the final scoring la completad.
