The collection promises to be a wonderful exhibition for all to en- joy. Beginning Satur- day, the museum will be open from 1 until 5 p.m. Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and Thur- sday every week. BIRD WALK ,.On Saturday, May 10 the Central Lake On- tario Conservation Authority will be hosting a guided tour of the Lynde Shores Con- servation Area for anyone interested in seeing and hearing the many small songbirds who have returned to the region after win- tering in the south. The walk will leave the Lynde Shores parking lot at 9 a.m. Lynde Shores Conser- vation Area is located along Victoria St. W. (Baseline Rd.) in Whit- by about 1 km. east of Regional Rd. 23. CESAREAN SUPPORT GROUP The Cesarean Birth Support and Education Group will be holding its next meeting Monday, May 12 beginning at 8 p.m. at 755 Cobblers Crt. in Pickering. The topic for discussion will be pre-natal and post cesarean exercises. The support group was established to meet the needs of women who have had, or are plan- ning to have, babies by cesarean birth. Mrs. Benner is a former Whitby resident and the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Porter. SAXOPHONE CONCERT Oshawa resident and practicing physician Ted Brankston will be giving his first recital concert, "A Saxophone in Concert", Thursday, May 15 at the McLaughlin Public Library, 65 Bagot St. in Oshawa. Accompanied by Bill Moolenbeek and George Brough, Dr. Brankston will perform works by Creston, Glazounov, Ravel, Albenir, Poulenc and Ibert. Admission is $5 at the door and ail proceeds will be donated to the Oshawa Symphony. BRASSQUINTET Eclectic Brass, the popular brass quintet, will be presented by the Oshawa Symphony Association on Satur- day, May 10 at 2 p.m. in the Centre Court of the Oshawa Centre. Ad- mission is free. FASHION SHOW, On Tuesday, May 13 at 8 p.m. in the Oshawa Little Theatre, the volunteer committee of the Oshawa Symphony Association will be presenting Caribbean Cruise, a fashion show by Leisure Lady. The show will feature straight-forward, ·great looking clothes you'll want to wear this season. There will be refreshments and door prizes, including airfare for two for a week in Florida. Admission is $8.50 and tickets are available at Middleton's Stationery, 113 Dundas St. W. DINNER DANCE The Ajax, Pickering, Whitby Association of the Mentally Retarded will be celebrating 30 years of service June 6 with a dinner and dance at the Grenada Restaurant in the Pickering Town Centre.
