SPCO-W The next board meeting of the Social Planning Council of Oshawa-Whitby wili be held Tuesday, April 1 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Commttee Room 1 of the Whitby Municipal Building. The SPCO-W is a United Way agency and the public is welcome to attend. EASTER AT THE LIBRARY The Whitby Public Library has big plans for chiidren six years of age and older on the Easter weekend. On Saturday morning during the storyhour which begins at 10:30, the children will be designing Easter bon- nets. Chilciren are asked to bring along decorations and library staff wili be taking pic- tures of the children in their bonnets for dispiay in the Chiidren's Depar- tment. LA LECHE MEETING The next monthiy meeting of the La Leche League - 'a nursing mother support group - wiil be held Wednesday, April 2 beginning at 7 p.m. The topic of discussion wili be nutrition and weaning and ail mothers and babies are welcome. SENIORS CO-OPERATING CLUB The Whitby Seniors Co-operating Club welcomes ail seniors 55 and older to drop by for a visit. The club serves full course meals every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for only $2.60 and afterwards you are invited to stay for an afternoon of bingo.
