Curling The Mary Lynn MacKay rink emerged on top in the Gus Brown Pontiac Buick Bonspiel at the Whitby Curling Club last week. Mrs. MacKay's teamn consisted of Helen Smyth, vice, Doris An- derson, second and Fern Fulton, lead. The Ann Chapelle rink- placed second and the Gin. Lindsay rink took the consolation. The runner-ups included two rinks skipped by Bandy Hygard and in the con- solation, the Doris Ames rink was the runner-up. In the Past Presidents Bonspiel Feb. 17, the Ann Chapelle rink with Muriel Prosser, Sharon Munro, Ann Wiggins and Marlon Sparrow was the trophy winner with the Doris Ames rink runner-up. The one game high winner was the Gerry McCammond rink and the consolation went to the Ev. Miller rink. LACROSSE REGISTRATION Whitby Garrard Road Minor Lacrosse Association will hold registrations on March 8 and April 12, at both Iroquois and Brooklin arenas, between 10 ar. and 2 p.rn. Registration fee for 1986 houseleague will be $35 per player; $50 per famuly. Additional $20 per player for rep teams, tyke to inter- mediate. On registration dates, used equipment will be for sale.
