The chiidren of both the students and the volun- teers get the chance to cultivate Engish language skills in a structured program conducteci by qualified E.C.EÉ. staff. Volunteers are needed to teach in the aduit program and to assist in the chiidren's program at the Oshawa location. Training and continuing consulation viii be provided by the teacher co-ordinator, Monica McCure, vho is available at aIl sessions. No experience is necessary and volun- teers find that both they and their children enjoy being involved in in- troducing Canadian language and culture to nevcomers and those brushing-up on their language skilis.
