Photo by Bob Nelson "Fiddler", "Amadeus", and "Corne Back" to be performed by WLT1 next seson The Whitby Little Theatre has announced what plays it will per- forni during the 1985-86 season. The theatre's first show will be "Fiddler on the Roof ", one of the longest running musicals in Broadway history. The story is one of change, broken dreanis, of love and survival. "Fiddier on the Roof" will be' perforrned November 7, 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16. The second produc- tion of the season will be Peter Snaffer's "Arnadeus", the winner of the London Theatre Critics Award. It has been highly acclaimed because of its great literary strength and theatrical challenges. It is the story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozard - the man and his music. This play takes place in Vienna in November, 1823 and, in recall, the decade before. "Amadeus" will be per- formed February 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22, 1986. The W.L.T. will end its subacription season with "'Corne Back to the Five and DimneJimrny Dean, Jimrny Dean". This is a haunting play about fears and feeling. It centres around fernale members of a Jimmy Dean Fan Club as they gather and the five-and-ten-cellt store for a reunion. with frequent flash- backs to the 5's, the story develops a strong turn-of-events with the appearance of an unusual character. "Corne Back" will be perforrned May 1, 2,3,8, 9 and 10, 1986. Ail of the Whitby Lit- tle Theatre's produc- tions are performed in the theatre of the Cen- tennial Building, 416 Centre St. S.
