Instead of having one National Trust branch on Brock St. S. and one Victoria and Grey Trust branch on Dundas St. W. local residents will now be served by two branches of the National Victoria and Grey Trust at the same locations. According to Roger Ingram, manager of the Brock branch, and John Bromley, manager of the Dundas branch, the merger will provide bet- ter service to local customers. "This is a case where two trust companies merge to serve their customers better," Bromley says. The merger of the companies took place on Sèpt. 1 and gave them combined Canada-wide assets of over $8 billion and over 140 branches throughout the country.
