First aid course will start Sept. 18 The Whitby branch of the St. John Ambulance Brigade will hold a standard first aid cour- se beginning on Sept. 18 in room 132 of Anderson Collegiate, 400 Anderson St., starting at 7 p.m. This eight-week cour- se will help prepare anyone to give aid to an injured person in an emergency situation. The course is also in- tended to give the par- ticipant the confidence required to work quickly and accurately in these types of situations. The cost of the course is $27.
