Smyth heada up what appears to be one of the strongest executive commttees the theatre Company bas ever had. The president herself Ibrings to her job a very strong background, both in theatre, and in ad- ministrative affairs. Other executive menibers include: Greg Langl, vice-president; Carol Laing, secretary; Joan Roantree, treasurer; Bert Heaver, publicity director; Tony Bingham, executive producer; Jamice Stone, membership chairper- son; Stuart Drew, front- of-house, Rhonda Davis, youth. group co- ordinator; and,. Gary Hatton, social convener. A major item under discussion at the meeting was the $5,000 grant from the Town of Whitby, granted to im- prove .technical fadilities in the theatre, chiefly stage lighting.
