The Dunedins may think the season is over but they go into triple A playdowns vs. Oshawa on August 2 and 3, then E.O.B.A. playoffs August 6and 7. Corne on everybody, let's stop talking and get down to some action this faîl to dlean up this sewer mess. It looks like the Port Whitby bridge will at last be replaced, about time. I would publicly like to thank the GO-ALRT team for their efforts in responding to the needs of the commumity.in this endeavour and I know that the Regional Chairman and the local firm of Totten, Sims and Hubicki have played their share in this project. Sandy Stevenson Twelve young womnen from Ontario are chosen to compete -in the National Women's Basketball Champion- ship Tournament which is held each August. Sandy 15 currently at the University of Saskatchewan, Regina, where the National Championships are being held, August 3 to 6. In the fail, Sandy will be studying at Lauren- tian University, Sud- bury, and will be playing on the Lauren- tian Varsity Women's Basketball Team. Local girl picked -for jr., teain Sandy Stevenson, 19, of Henry Street High School, Whitby, has been, chosen, for - the second consecutive year, as a player on the Ontario Provincial Jr. Woments Basketball Team.
