ANOTHER AWABD WINNER FOR BROOKLIN The Brooklin Spring Fair float won first prize for the best, commercial float ln the OshawÎa Santa Claus Parade beld Nov. 21 in'Oshawa.ýý ' The float "'Mary Hada!Little ILamb", was pulled by Perey Mountjoy's four Percheron team. Miss Brooklln and Sherry. Batty rode on the float of Mar and the Lamb. Congratulations to ail who asslsted in this venture. THERE'S A NEW BUSINESS IN TOWN I'm sure aIl the residents of Brooklin, Myrtle and Ashburn will be pleased to hear of a new business in this area. "The Video Image",'owned and operated, by Don Wick, is located in the front section of'the Brooklin Bulletin, on Churcb Street (the street that runs north and south where Mitchell Brothers and the Community Center are located). The Video Image wiil be specializing in "beta" tapes, however, it will also be carrying the VHS tapes. They have over a hundred movies-in stock in Brooklin at the present time'anid' hope to expand, their llbrary at a rate of 30 to 40 i week. Wick has been operating a similar store in Bob- caygeon quite successfully for some time now. The 240 tapes in this store wil also be avallable to you on a reservation basis. The video boon is not a passing fancy. It is here to stay. If youown your own machine there are tapes available for rent. If you don't, there are machines and tapes available on a daily, week-end or weekly basis. It is great to see this new business in town and I wish them all the best.
