Admission will be $1 and country and west- ern entertainent will be provided. If you lose- your kids, this year. you'll be able to find them, since the Brooklin Block Parents Association will be operating a lost child- ren's booth in the arena. This is the first time there has been either an Arabian horse show or a show open to all breeds at the Brooklln fair., The classes in the, afternoon should be particularly interesting for specta- tors, asriders in native Arabian, English and' Western costume will present a colourful spec- tacle. Circumstances did not permit the Metro Toron- to Police Tug-of-War Team to participate in last year's fair, but the Metro police will be back again this year to challenge our Durham police team.- The con- test is being sponsored by the Brooklin Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion and will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June6& In- addition to the ever-popular Fiddlers' Contest there will also be a Step-Dance Contest in the arena on the even- ing of Sunday, June 6.
