The Ontario Humane Society has flot, does not, and I am sure, neyer will release an animal alive for resear- ch purposes. We hope that if any tender 18 cabased on satisfying and compiy- ing with the present agreement with the Canadian Union, of Public Empioyees. The Ontario Humane 'Society wants to con- tinue to provide thc ful range of humane ser- vices, as weil as animal control, to the Whitby, Ajax and Pickering Region. Remember only the Ontario Humane Society can provide humane ser- vices. What we are talk- ing about, therefore, is whether or not the general public wants to retain the work of the Ontario Humane Society in Durham Region. It is as simple as that.
