Anderson was armed with two advantages this year: home-ground and that vital "school spirit," however it was not enough as A.C.V.I. Iost the game 35 to7. This .invigorating sehool spirit drives An- derson on towards the "Anderthon", another sports event, on October 26. This year's event, heid at Heber Down Conservation Area, features separate runs for female and maie students and an obstacle course to challenge everyone. Another memorabie occasion will, no doubt, be the Stratford Trip on October 22 when Ander- sonions will see The Rivais, a cornedy by Sheridan, at the Avon. 0f course, Anderson has its own production weil on its way. The Admirable Crichton wil be playing at the school from November 4 to 6, unfolding the local talents of our players, stage crew and director. Recentiy, the students have also been display- ing their marketing talents. "Wanna buy a chocolate bar?" is a line oft overheard in the An- derson hailways as our super salespersons hawk the giant Cara- miik bars to raise funds for student activities. The campaign ends on October 13 when $1,000 worth of prizes will be raffled.
