REGAL Bulck's hottest selllng model as a coupe in 1981, Regal gels new sedan modela and an estate wagon for 1982. The sedan, available in base and Limited ver- sions, features the for- mai roof lime which proved popular on last year's Century sertes. The coupe gets a revised swlngaway grill. The entire Regal lie has been upgraded, wlth several new standard equlpment features i- cluding body side mouldings (except Sport Coupe), multi- function control lever, whitewall tires (except Sport Coupe), custom color-coordinated seat beits, and voltmeter and temperature gauges on the Regal Sport Coupe. The base Regal engine stli is the 3.8 litre V6. A 4.1 litre V6 engmne and a 4.4 litre VS area available in sedans, coupes and wagons. The 4.1 litre V6 cornes with a four- barrel carburetor. A 5.0 litre four-barrel V8 also is available for wagons. Regal coupes and sedans get two optional diesels for 1962 - the 5.7 litre VS which became available during the 1981 mode], year, and a new 4.3 litre V6 diesel. Wagons continue with the 5.7 litre diesel avail- able for 1982. The Regal Sport Coupe continues, but with some important Improvements to the standard turbocharged 3.8 litre V6. RIVIERA The Buick Riviera retains its classic ele- gance for 19M, wtth oniy minor changes. Addition of the auto- matic transmission with overdrive as standard equxpment provides an estimated fuel con- sumption reduction of 10 to 25 per cent on the highway dependlng on the engine selected. Low.,,drag brakes also become standard, another fuel economy assist. Standard engine on the Rilviera ls now the 4.1 litre V6 with four- barrel carburetor. Op- tional are a 5.0 litre gasoline V8 and a 5.7 litre diesel V8. The Riviera T-type, which wil debut after January 1, -wiil feature the turbocharged 3.8 litre V6 as standard, with the 4.1 litre V6 and the 5.0 litre VS optional. LeSABRE The 1962 LeSabre receives only minor ex- terior changes, in- cluding a new grile design with more pro- minent vertical Unes. The base model in the sertes is redesignated a Le£-Sabre Custom, wlth additional interlor and exterior trlm items ad- ded as standard equip- ment. OSHAWA - Targeted at Canadian fuJi-size car owners who have corne to appreciate excellent fuel economy, roominess and ride, 1962 Pontiac Parisienne is a six-passenger car built on a 116-inch wheelbase. It is available in two series - Parisienne and Parisienne Broughanm - both offered as two-door coupes, four-door sedans and four-door, two- and three-seat station wagons. Standard on aIl Pari- sienne coupes and sedans is a 3.8 litre (231 cid) V6 engine with a three-speed automatic transmission that has a torque converter clutch to help improve high- way fuel economy. GRAND LeMANS Grand LeMans for 1982 Win appeal to mid- size car owners who seek a smailer more fuel-efficient car. Grand LeMans and Grand LeMans Brougham are available as four-door sedans and four-door station wagons, alI on a 108-inch wheelbase that Winl carry six passengers with com- fort. Standard on ail LeMans models is a 3.8 ljtre (231 cid) V6, with optional 4.1 litre (252 cid) V6, 4.4 litre (267 cid) VS and 5.7 litre (350 cid) dieselV8. GRAND PRIX Grand Prix retains ils aerodynamic wedge- shape appearance in 1982. Drag coefficient was reduced approx- iniately 18 per cent in 1981 and is maintained in 1982 with a sleek low front and raised deck in the rear.
