Coach bouse lis strongly recommended4op " The Coach House at 939 Dundas Street West, in Whitby is stili one of our favourite dining places. Last week, we made a return visit to this popular eating spot, and as might have been expected, we found the food and the service to be excellent. Paul Papas and his brother Jim have been at the Coach House for nearly four years, and during that time have built up a very large, steady and satisfied clientele. Steak or fish have always been the choices 1 had to make here, and this time I went for the steak, baked potato and French bread. When you enter the Coach House, you are ushered to a table with a red tablecloth, candie burning and you im- mediately relax in the atmosphere that surrounds you. For openers, the waitress will bring you a plate of olives and dill pickles, and then bring a serving of small sausages that are kept hot over a burning can- die. The whole exper- ience is a delight and the combination of atmo- sphere, excItent food and good service, leaves you with the feeling that you want to return at a very early date. We have visited the Coach House on several occasions, and we must comment on the service; it is excellent. They feature a businessmen's tuncheon from $3.00 and up. Dinner for two is from $15.00 and up. A salad bar is included with fuîl course meals. Ahl major credit cards are accepted. The Coach House opens at noon and ser- ves tuncheons until 3 p.m. We tried the lunch a few weeks ago with a group of fellow workers from the newspaper. Each of us enjoyed it.
