The Mohawks came out of a very tight first period up 3-1 but a 15 goal effort by the Builders in the second period put the game away for Whitby. The Builders were slow getting started in the flrst period but got their act together for the final two stanzas, out- scoring their opponents 246. John Fuscor lead the home town boys with a five goal effort. Mike Sear and Todd Tran scored three apiece. The ladies opened the scoring in the top of the first driving in two runs. A solo home run by Lowe in the second, four runs in the third and eight runs in the fifth gave Oshawa-Whitby the win. Top Redmen marksman for the nlght was Larry Graham who lead Brooklin with four goals. Tom Wreggitt, Tim Briscoe and Bill Down each scored two. Steve Kashul, Bryce Jordan, Brian Colm and Ken Colley picked Up singles. The Redmen were neyer behind in the game Jeading 2-1 at the end of the first period and 9-6 entering the final stanza. Their hosing streak was almost snapped in Peterborough last Tuesday might, scoring three goals in the first period against the James and four in the second.
