Wasn't it nice 0f the weather man to have sueh a nice weekend planned for you. I must say though I wilI be pleased to have you doing the column next week. Just a note of nicer things to corne is that my crocus have sprouted with this terrifie weather of the last few days. I hope they don't get frozen. RUGGER DANCE Please try to support the Anderson Rugger Dance on Friday 27 February. The tickets are $15 a couple and may be purchased from Greta Hope 668-4919. The music will be sup- plied by Geoff Rison and his band as well as a disc jockey. There will be prizes, a lunch and bar privilegc-s. Proceeds will assist the rugger teamn with their trip to Wales in March. WHITBY COMMUNITY CARE Community Care is a volunteer organization for seniors and is in no way to be confused with Comcare. We are stili desperately in need of volunteers to assist in the office, an- swering phone calls and also for drivers. Just two or three hours a week is ail we ask. Community Care is also looking for volunteers to take the Commuûnity Involvement and Volunteer Programme (C.I.V.P.). Volunteering is rewarding. Whatever you have to offer; be it an hour, haif a day or whatever - we need you. Please eall 668-6223 and have a chat with our co-ordinator Marie Brooks. Mr. Correli of Canada Pension will be the guest speaker for our annual meeting on April 29. Much valuable information was given at our last annual meeting so please keep this date in mind. WESTMINSTER UNITED CIIURCII With the growing congregation we hope that some of the new people will be interested in joining the choir.
