WHITBY FREE PRESS, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3,1979. PAGE 5 Corridor Capers It is to be hoped that everyone survived the Christmas festivities and enjoyed a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. We are now beginning 1979 and New Year's resolutions have no doubt been made and some already broken. '78 was a good year, and hopefully '79 will be even better. Our Town Council representatives have been predicting a io-increase budget. They must be magicians. No one else can do it. It even costs more to sneeze these days. Let's just wait and see what services will be reduced to enable the budget to remain stable. SEWERS The Regional meeting to determine the sewer rate for the Corridor will be on Wednesday, January 24. From the number of telephone calls I have received, it would appear that many of the residents now having sewers past their homes, have taken advantage of the $150 before January lst fee. More details later. CORRIDOR CAPERS DANCE . The next Corridor Capers dance will be held on March 10, 1979 at Heydenshore Pavillion. The committee have already begun preparations and it promises to be its usual success. Reserve tickets early. The last dance was a complete sell-out, so don't be dissappointed, call one of the executive members right away. Remember, Saturday, March 10, Corridor Capers Dance at Heydenshore.
