What a beautiful weekend. Our visittW St. Audrew's 'Kirk Bazaar' was one of the week-end high lig hts. The bazaar had an lnteresting dlsplay of articles and home baklng. The tearoomn was excellent, and judging by the filled tea tables, a popular addition> W ,the bazaar. CongratultionstW ail the iâcies of St. Andrew's church, we enjoyed your yearly bazaar. Immediately foilowing the bazaar, we escorted some ladies and gentlemen fromn the Coîborne St. Sr. Citizens apartment building to the Municipal Building, so they could exercise their privilege at the advance poil. The short drive was a deliglitful experience. Our passengers were so cheerful and'full of wit that we were tempted to put, our, names on the apartment waiting list. Its a beautifulý apartment building, thanks for the tour. We'il see your etcblngs another time. Saturday evening was the beginning of a birthday celebra- tion. LOCAL ARTIST SHOW Sunday, November 5, at Ary's Galleryin, Whitby, was ýthe setting for local artist 'Skip Miller' to display bis many works of art. This was his first one-man show. On display were a great many of his original works. Mr. Miller is a natural, artist, who bas developed his present style witb the pencil over years of practice. H e is self taught, and his fine eye for détail* make him an excellent portrait artist. Born and raised in Oshawa, be attended O.C.V.I. and Durham Colege. He plans to show more of his work early in the new year. His next step willbe to introduce pastelcolours in his sketching. His work must be seen to be appreciated.
