The Whitby Jaycees this past season have shown just one of the reasons why the basebali fraternity and the public at large should -be proud of thi s organization. Sponsoring of a Bantam Team did flot satisfy this group and so as well as donate to the cause by the afore znentioned sponsorship they took it upon themselves to look after the umpiring required for the whole Pee- Wee house league. .- a 'Job' well done. -Tli.ank you Jaycees. Neil Murkar, who's well known by basebaîl people in Whitby.ý Neil has been part of this organization since it's in cep- tion when it was revitalized in 1959 and h as held just about every titie from Direc- tor, President, Publicity Director etc. etc. and even today convenes the Oshawa-, Whitby Midget Invitational Tournament which in itself is no easy task.
