Goalie Colin Haisel got the shut-out.- This game left the series, i ti'ed at -3 in points. NOVICE In the fourth game of a best-of-five seres, April 4 at Brooklin, Markhain won the series seven points to one by defeating the OPSEU Warriors 2- 1. PDrejk Middfleton got the oniy Warnor goal. Warriors win Novice tournament The OPSEU Warriors of' the Brooklin-Whitby Minor Hockey Association have won their* second novice tourna- ment of t he year. Playing at CobourgApril 1, the Warriors defeated Stouff-, ville 2-I in overtime, with both goals scored by Derek Middleton.- Derek scoreêd the winning goal with 25 seconds left in overtime, and was named the top scorer of the toumament. Stuart Holter, also of the Warriors,was named top de-_ fensemnan and ,niost Ivaluable1 player of the tournament, and both*boys received trophies. In the first game, the War- riors shut out the Oshawa Bruins 2-O with goals by Derek Mid dleton and Danny O'Con- nor. Goalie Terry Sawdon got the shut-out. IIongueu exehange Whitby's youth sports ex- change with its twinning part- ner Longueuil, Quebec is pro- ceeding well, with the first portion of the exchange com-» .pleted. A Pee Wee hockey team (ages il and 12) and a Bantam' team (ages 13 and 14) con- sisting of 34 boys visited Whitby on the Easterweek- end.
