Police are expected to lay charges agairnst a total of eight young vandals. The vandals who broke into the library caused about $ 1,000 d amage, pulliug'apart some 16 mm. film, snashing a projector and tape recorder, andý throwing books from. the shelves. This number dropped to 72.5 per cent in 1977, lie reports. Dr. Gray also reports that 66.2 per cent of children en- tering Durhami Region schools in 1974 were'inxmunized a- gainst Red Measles, compared to 53.7 per cent in 1977. In 1977 there were 207 cases of Red Measies in the region compared to only 56 in 1976, says Dr. Gray.
