The Whitby Chamber ofCommerce is sponsoring a Trade Fair in connection with the Carnival. Committee Chairman Ralph Square dancing July 30 Square dance enthusiasts will have an opportunity to take part in a County Town Carnival square dance July 30 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Green Street Parking lot. The square dance is arranged by the -Brooklin Squares, a local square dance club, and audience participa- tion is invited. Lawn bowling The Whitby Lawn Bowling Invitational Mixed Pairs Tournament will be held July 31 at 2 p.m. at the lawn bowling green beside the seniors' activity centre on Brock Street South. This is one of the many County Town Carnival events for 1977. In case of rain, the dance will be held July 31 at the same time and place. Ritchie of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce indicates that response has been good. , The Trade Fair will be held in the Iroquois Park Arena on July 25, 26 & 27. It is open to the public from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. each evening and there is no admission charge. Mr. Ritclie also indicates that Special Entertainment will be featured each evening of the Fair: Monday, July 25 - Dog Show, Tuesday, July 26 - Mutt Show, Wednesday, July 27 - Whitby Brass Band: In addition to these the Brooklin Horticultural Society vill put on a demonstration each evening of the fair. .~ .g-~,-- WELCOME. to the 12th ANNUAL cscu.
