New plaza consideired Council is considering a proposai for an eight-unit shopping plaza to be built at the north-west corner of, Dunlop and Green Streets adjacent to the Whitby Plaza. The planning department has expressed concern that the 12 parking spaces offered in the site plan are flot enough, and suggests that the property be developed in conju nction with the entire block south -of the fire hall, rather than as a separate piece of property. This would alleviate the parking problems, says Planning Director Kevin Tunney, and would not jeopardize the redevelopment of the remain- der of the block.
