General Motors offices in Whitby A niumber of General Motors departments will re- locate their offices to the basement of the Whitby Mall in September, as a resuit of the sale of the old offices at the north plant in Oshawa to a developer last month. General Motors stated it was selling the old offices, buiît shortly after 1900, because it was too expensive to renovate them 40o modern standards. Library gets $4,000 grant The Whitby Public Library wiIl receive a $4,000 Wint'ario grant for the purchase of Canadian films, records and tapes.
