She died at Whiitby on Nov. 15, 1964. Mr. Calderone is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. Cucci, Mrs. V. Sabirio and Mrs. M. Pantelco, of Toronto, and two' sons, Joseph,. of Toronto, and Frank, of London, Ont. Another daughiter, Christina Calderone died aibout 30 years ago. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 1 2 great grandchildren, and a brother Vinicent Calderone, of Wliitby. Mr. Calderone was well known in Whitby, and often icted as an interpreter for ttalians in the local courts. Thie funeral was held.Dec. 31 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, and Mr. Calderone wilI be buried in St. John's R.C. Cernetery on Rossland Road. Mrs. Wmé Davidson dies Mrs. William Davidson, Wîife of a former mayor 'of Whitby, died Dec. 23 at the Dr. J. O. Ruddy Hospital, at the age of 86. The for mer Emily Jane Swain, Mrs. Davidson was horn at Mount Albert, Ont. Feb. 10, 1890, and hadresided at 700 Brock St. S., Whitby for nearly 40 vears. Mr. Davidson was a memnber of the Whitby town council for many years and was mnayor fioni 1947 to 1949. He died at the age of 75 on Oct. 26, 1965. Mrs. Davidson is survived by, a son, Jim Davidson, of We'st Hill, and daughter, Mrs. Edna Martin, of Lindsay, as well as four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. A. Worfolk, of Whitby. Mrs. Davidson was- a life member of St. Mark's United Church. Rev. John Smitli of St. Mark's conducted the funcral service at W.C. Town Funeral Chapel.
