For the second time Group '74 will be organising the event. Last year's dance was a great success....if you were there you know that only too well. Most taxpayers support restraint in public spending. But when you are told that closing the station will trim $74,000 from the police budget and then are told that $600,000 in the same budget is earmarked for planned expansion in 1978 of another police station, namely Oshawa, then 1 repeat...it stinks. Another example of the Regional system costing far more than it is worth. The story dealt with a letter to Whitby Council from C. A.
