Mr. Schaaf reported that when he becarne the Cham- ber's president, it suffered frorn a substantial deficit, but as he leaves office, the Cham- ber has a healthy bank balance with which to start newer and better projects. The 1975 trade fair mnade. a profit of $770.45, and was very successful, he said, sug- gesting that it could be ex- panded in future years. Mr. Schaaf further report- ed that the Chamber office, which was moved to the Centennial Building in con- nection with the YMCA of- fice in 1975, had handled the usual duties of answering comn- plaints and supplying infor- mation. "During the year-we have fulfilled our duty as a Chamber", he said. Mr. Schaaf thanked the Chamber 'mnembers for their support, and Nigel Schilling moved a vote of thanks to him for a job well donie.
