BANTAM 'B' Blackbirds were the section- ai winners in thc bantam 'B' division. Dennise Fleming and Gavin Patterson bowled the high doubles; Elaine Sim, Colleen Belliveau and Kevin Ritz, Gavin Patterson, high singles; and Jili Hutchinson and David Grylîs, h igh avei ages. Third periodbs for CBC Alistars The Brooklin-Whitby Con- solidated Building Corporation Juvenle Alîstars captured a win and a tie in recent play. Th ey overcame a 3-0 second period deficit to earn a 3-3 tic with Lindsay in a contest at Iroquois Park Arena. Tim Brown, Garry Bruce and Ed Szczur scored for the locals. Phil Murtha fired two goals and Bob Craig one for Lindsay. They -hen scrambled to a 5-2 vîcth over Bay Rýidges in contest played at the Don Beer Arena. As in the pre- vious gamne. C.B.C. played poor hockey in the first txvo periods before settling down ini the third. Tir n Brown, Garry Bruce, Jim De Mille, Tomi Foster and Dan Jordan scored for the winners. GRMLI4 celebration Nov. 29 Tickets are still available for the Garrard Road Minor Lacrosse Association's 1lOth anniversary dinner and dance November 29 at the Auto- workers Credit Union Hall, 322 King Street West in Oshawa. Although the time is limited 1 consider it extremely important to communicate with as many people as possible prior to the election date. Good government is dependant upan the relationship of the Government and the People and. 1 arn involved primarily in response ta the widening gap in our society today. It is my intention to brmng as much truth to'bath sides as is humanly possible so that a better understanding can be accomplished. In order ta fullfili this ambitious goal I have terminated my employment with the Royal Trust Company where I have been employed in their Industrial Real Estate Department for the past three years. As of this date I arn prepared ta devote my complete dedication on a FULL lIME basis ta carry out the duties of the Mayor of this town.
