In an interview, coach Peter Warmington stated he was more than pleased with the turn out. He expects to carry 15S players including two goalies and is going to haie a tough decision in mak- ing the final cuts. To help in his assessment of players in action manager Gord Kinzie lined up an ex- hibition game with Brampton on October 13 at Iroquois Park Arena. The C.B.C.'s skated their way to a 5-2 victory, with hold over Tim Brown picking Up a hattrick. Also scoring for the C.B.C.'s'were Dan Jorden and Tom, Foster. Foster's was the prettiest goal of the night as he neatly inter- cepted a wayward Brampton pass, while killing a penalty, waltzed in all alone and neatly tucked the puck be- hind the Brampton goalie. The scoring fm Bramnpton was handled by Neal Hamil- ton and Steve Jefferson. Coach Warmington wilI have to get his team ready for the league opener against Cobourg on October 27. This team bhas a great deal of potential, and if the boys work hard and aIl play as a team, they are going to be bard to beat., Let's all get behind them and give our vocal support.
