Parents and prospective Beavers are welcome at the meeting at St. Thornas's Parish Hall at 6:30 p.m. This is a brand new group for the yoting boys around toWn .. age for a Beaver is between 5 and 8 years. 2nd Brooktin Cubs meet on this night over ut Nleadowcrest. Again Mrs. Shepherd is the one to cail if you have any questions.. 655-3675. And at the Community Centre at 7:30 p.rn. the Brooktin Arts and Crafts have their Open Night. Registra- tion for the FalI ctasses wiIt also be taken. A new class for this fait is for the young peopte between the ages of 11-1 5 years and it will be held on a Thursday night between 6:30 and 8 p.m. starting September 25th. The aduit ses- sions are offering, a special Pioneer Class..working in raw woot thro' al] the various processes of washing, dying, and weaving etc. Also at the Open Night there will be a dernon- stration, on the art of using a potter's wheel.. Mrs. Pat Bullock will be the very capable demonstrator, and if enough people show interest then a course will be offered.ý 1 have the feeling that also on this night, over at Meadow- m gwmlqwuu crest you could get ln on the first night of the Brooklin Badminton Club. l'Il try and be more deflnite next week. Take a rest on Friday! But on SATURDAY over at the Library at 9:30 a.rn. there is the children Storyhour and Craft time. The ladies over at the library do great things for the children at this hour, and 1 know my own chitdren really enjoy themnselves there. 1 don't know about you but I'm exhausted. I aIlso have the feeling that I've missed something out. Forgive me if 1- have. But before 1 go..it's forgivenesstime over at'the Library. Throughout September you can take. aIl those overdue books back and pay no fines.'Ait will be forgiven! And a special request'from the Brooklin subdivision .. where do they go to vote? It woutd seem that they haven't been given the correct place and as the wholething seemns muddled coutd somneone please help them out? 1 was going to remark on the -plans of the Recreation Department but I'm running out of time and paper. So 1 guess that it will have to wait until next week. By t.he way, 1 know that we have a Bridge Club and a Square dancing club and probabty quite a- few other groups as well.
