The high-rise issue has been pretty dormant over the summer months, but a recent news story indicates that it is due to return to the forefront. To bring you up to date, the Town refused, about six weeks ago, to issue the developer a building permit citing a number of areas where the proposed development did not meet the requirements of, the building by'-Iaws. The devel- oper in turn appealed to the courts to force the Town to issue the building permit. The court deferred hearing the issue until late September or early October.
