Clan Bruce, Clan MacNeil, Clan Campbell, Clan Mac- Leod, Clan MacEachen, Clan Chisholm, 'Clan MacLean, Clan Ferguson, Clan Donald and aIl their Highland cousins wil be a part of the 1975 Scottish World Festival. The Festival returns ta Toronto's C.N.E. following its tremen- dous successes in 1972 and 1973. The 1975 Festival will be a Highland kaleidoscope of unmatched pageantry, colour and sound ta stir the hearts of ail Scots. Th e Festival actually opens Wednesday, August 13, with a Parade of the Pipers through downtawn Toron to at noon ta herald the openirg of the Third Scottish World Festival and the 1975 Cana- dian National Exhibition. The Parade will ihelude close ta 2,000 pipers and drumii- mers plus over a 1 ,500 military niusicians and druni corps performers. Over a million people are expected to lne the toute. Two Scottish Clans Chiefs will be Guests of Honour at the Festival's Tattoos. The Rt. Hon. The Earl of Elgin and Kincardine, Chief of Clan Bruce, will be the Guest of Honour on Thursday, August 14 and Friday, August 15. Mý,acNeil of Barra, Chief of Clan MacNeil, will be Guest of Honour on Saturday, August 16, and Sunday, August 17. , Famed Canadian broad-, caster 'Gardon Sinclair aughor of the hit record 1"America" and Honourary Chief of Clan,-Sinclair in, Canada, also will be a special Guest of Honaur. Other ispecial guests will include. Donald J. MacDonald of Castleton, Chieftain of the MacDonalds -of Castleton and renowned Scottish author and historian; Brigadier Gen- eral Colin A. Campbelli Honourary Chief of Clan Çarnpbell in Canada, and Col. David M. Stewart of the Queen's York Rangers. The Four Evening Tattoos August 14 ta 17 in the C.N. E.'s .41,000 seat Grandstand will feature a thousand pipers and drummners from Scotland England, Ireland, New Zea- land and Canada, in the larg- est and rnost spectacular mass pipe band display staged anywhere in the world.
