Whitby won the final gaine of the championship series 5-2. Dave Sachko and Mark Sweetland each scored a pair of goals for the winners while Joey Nieuwendyk chipped in with a single. Whitby opened the series with a 3-2 victory as Joey Nieuwen dyk tallied twice and Dave Westcott once. The Florists' first two goals were scored while they had a man in the penalty box. Stuart Carson and Andy Plummer replied for Iosing Atom Alistars tied In the sixth gaine, played in Bay Ridges, the home teain won 3-2. During the 10 playoff gaines, the Florists won nine and lost only one gaine, that in overtime to Ajax.
