Subsection 6 of Section 26 of By-law No. 2585 is hereby deleted and the following substituted therefore: "(6) VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES Eery person who uses any lot, or erects or uses any building or structure or any part of any lot, building or structure in a manner contrary to any requirement of this By-law, or who causes or permits such use or erection, or who violates any provision of the By-law or causes or permits a violation, shall be guiîlty of an offence punishable on summary convic- tion and upon conviction therefore shall forfeit and pay a penalty not exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) exclusive of costs for each such offence and every such penalty shall be recover- able under the Municipal Act and the Summary Convictions Act." 2.
