Pickard, clerk-administrator of Markhara, resolving that the Government of Oritarlo amend the Election Act. The town wants civic elections to be held on the first Monday in October be- cause electors are often faced with inclement weather when voting on the first Monday in December. Markham also wants to change the fiscal year to erd on October 3 1. The matter lias been ne- ferred to the administrative committee with the clerk tô report in the future.
