The late Dr. and Mrs. Cars cal- len lived for many years on Byron Street north in Whitby after his retirement from the Ontario , Ladies' College principalship. A portrait.of Dr. Stanley Osborne the former principal of Ontario Ladies' College was unveiled and presented to the College by the members of the Board. The Dedication Service on Sunday was presided over by Rev. John M. Smnith, of St. Marks United Church, Whitby He said that the purpose of the College which is one of the anchor colleges in the educational programme of the Chiurcli is the "educating of young women in the light of Christian virtue during the the past 100 years.
