Firestone's purchà se of Ãli* Dunlop stock is being miate for an undiscloscd arnounit of cash, and lias been ipi)- roved by the Foreign In- vestmnent Revicw Agency of Canada and is subject to the consent of the hiolders of' Dunlop Canada Limited's de- bentures, whichi is now being soughit. The agreemnent pro- vides for Firestone to ac- quire an autornotive tire pl- ant at Whitby. a bicycle tire plant at Centralia, and a num- ber oi'distribution and supply outlets throughiout Canaida. Firestone plans to increase production and employment at the Whitby Plant and to continue the other acquired operations. J.
