Producer of the new Stompin' Tom series, which is scheduled for a fal release on CBC-TV, is Don R. McRae of Edmonton. Plans cail for filming at a number of tour stops to be integrated with portions shot in the studios of CBXT in Edmonton. Tour sehedules will be forwarded as soon as they become available. - For viewers who happened to miss episodes of the CBC-TV series, The Collaborators, repeats are planned. ihese will start on Friday, April 261, 10 - 11 p.m., and mun on 10 consecutive Fridays. Incidentally, latest national ratings gîve the series an 18 percent audience (that's almost 2 million viewers), and it is expected to be even higher when later listings come out. REPORT - Touring the world in search of a story is nothing new to Peter Kelly, producer of the upcomning two-part special, To The Sea In Ships. After a number -of years of career filming in Iraq, England, Jordan, Lebanon', Syria, Ireland and the United States, Peter finally settled in Toronto. But for his latest production, he travelled to the coastal towns of Norway, Sweden, Denmark and England, and the resuits are certainly worth the effort. To The Sea In Ships, a 7,000-year journey through h istory, will be shown on the CBC-TV network, Wednesday, March 20 and 27, 9 to 10 p.m. both evenings. - One of Toronto's busiest couples will guest on the Juliette & Friends show, Wednesday, March 6 at 2:00 p.m. Singer, actor, comedian, composer, writer and general jack-of-all' artistic endeavors, Don Harron, and bis wife, singer-actress Catherine McKinnon, get together with Julie to talk about their varied careers. - The Collaborators has already gone into production for next season. Much of the action of the first new episode, Kiss The World Goodbye, takes place in and around Toronto's new Scarborough Town Centre. The script for this one is by Lyal Brown. Alan King is directing, and Rene Bonniere is the series' producer. Cast list and other details in upcoming Network Notes. - Production crew - and more than 20 Eskimos - will be in studio 7 for four days starting Sunday, Feb. 24, for taping of Farley Mowat's The Executioners, an original drama-documefltary for telecast on CBC'S The Play's The Thing series Thursday, Marcb 28 at 9 p.m. Based on an actual case, it's about the trail of two Young Eskimo hunters who kilI their respective mother and aunt after she turns violently insane. Most of the Eskimo extras used in the courtroom scene are actually high school and college students who have been flown in from the Ottawa area. The remote film sequence depicting the death of the insane Ooloosee was -shot last week by director Rudi Dorn at Sibbald Point Park, on Lake Simcoe, and insiders report that Elizabeth Angma, a i 9-year-old Algonquin College student with no previous acting experience, rates top marks for her frighteningly realistic performance. Teleplay of Mowat's The Executioners was written in collaboration with Len Peterson. - Speaking of the courtroomn and The Play's The Thing, the CBC drama anthology séries presents F.R. Scott's The Roncarelli Affiar on Thursday, March *14 a4 9 p.m. The ' eminent Lawyer and Canadian poet is the voice-over narrator in the drama-documentary which is based on bis famnous case agaînst Duplessis, the Quebec premier who, in 1946, revoked the liquor licence of Montreal restauranteur Frank Roncarelli. -The career and life of Wilf Carter, who became one of North Amnerica's top country music recording stars, is the subject of a one.-hour film music-documentary on CBC. television Friday, Mardi 29 at 9 p.m. replacing the Tommy Hunter Show for one occasion.
