The Bah'ais of -Whitby are sponsorin g a public meeting on the United Nations to celebrate World Development Information Day. The meeting will be held Monday October 22nd at 8:00 p.m. ini the Centennial Building, Centre St. South, Whitby. A film will be showii entitledi I"The YOU in the U.N." Five new members were initiated into the club, they were Marian Reid, Linda Shewan, Marioni Newans, Gail Hughes and Sh- elia DeHart. Several Kinettes volunte- ered for convening various projects, for 'the year, one being the Kinette reunion, which is being held on Oct- ober 1IOth. A draw for a Thanksgiving Basket, consist- ing of Turkey, cheese and fruit, was held on October 6th, at the Sun GolFruit Market. 'Me convener was Kinette Gail Hughes.
