Emigrating, to Canada in 1957, he came to Brockvil11e to some friends, then on to Toronto to 1 o ok f or work. For ei ght months, he supported himself by washing dishes, house painting and doing other odd jobs. S i nce September, 1957, he has been a CBC costume designerý, work ing on some of the most important productions - in- cludingTheStrange Case of Dr. JekylI and Mr. Hyde, starring Jack Pal ance, and many CBC-TV Festival productions.
