PHOTO COURTESY OF CBC TV TIME: This Hour Has 22 Minutes' roving reporter Mark Critch pleads Halton MP and Labour Minister Lisa Raitt to bring an end to the National Hockey League (NHL) lockout. I just called to say I LOVE YOU All I wanted to do was to call you quickly to say how much I love you. I left my bluetooth headset in my laptop bag. I know I should've pulled over to make the call. Just a quick call I told myself. It happened so fast. I didn't see the turn ahead. I wish I just waited till I saw you later that evening. Now I'll never get to say it to you. Halton MP Lisa Raitt on This Hour Has 22 Minutes Halton MP Lisa Raitt made a special appearance on This Hour Has 22 Minutes Tuesday night. The political satire show, which aired on CBC at 8:30 p.m., featured Raitt in her role as the Minister of Labour for the federal government. Anchor and roving reporter for the show Mark Critch made his plea to Raitt in a segment of the show, begging her to bring an end to the National Hockey League (NHL) lockout much like she had done when Canadian Pacific Railway went on strike earlier this year and when Canada Post and Air Canada went on strike last year. The skit poked fun at Raitt's use of back-towork legislation to settle labour unrest. The episode can be watched online by visiting www. cbc.ca/22minutes.
