Pays the Supreme Sacrifice

Sergeant Observer Howard Sleep enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in September 1941. He received his training at Portage La Prairie, Macdonald, and graduated from Rivers (Man) in August 1942. He was posted overseas in October 1942. On 29 March 1943, he was killed while on operations over Germany and is buried at Dusseldorf.
