It is owned by Creekbank Developments Ltd. By David Lea OAKVILLE BEAVER STAFF Residents are calling it a blemish on Oakville's landscape, and the Town says it is not going to tolerate it much longer. The Town of Oakville recently announced it has laid charges against Creekbank Developments Ltd., for refusing to dispose of rubble left after the demolition of the former Ramada Inn at 360 Oakville Place Dr. -- at Trafalgar and North Service roads. Creekbank, the property's owner, plans to build an office development on the site featuring buildings from 10-15 storeys in height. The Town and the Ontario Municipal Board rejected the developer's initial 900-unit residential condominium apartment proposal. Luis Ferreira, a supervisor with the Town's Licensing and ByLaw Services, said the developer applied for a demolition permit for the hotel on Oct. 17, 2011.
