Capt. D.L. Mumford gets real greeting on arrival at Kingston

If any Lindsay servicemen’s wives are wondering how they should greet their returning heroes they might find they could learn a thing or two by viewing the tactics employed by Mrs. D.L. Mumford when Capt. D. L. Mumford arrived at Kingston Monday night.

A picture just received from Kingston Public Relations and now on display in the Post window bears the caption, “The Girl I Left Behind Me”, was really on hand hand to greet Capt. Don. L. Mumford, R.C.C.S. when he returned to Kingston Wednesday night aboard the train bearing the troops from the Queen Elizabeth. And what could be more perfect than the greeting Mrs. D.L. Mumford is giving her husband on his arrival!
