Reported to No. 1 “M” Depot, Toronto, 5 April 1943. Posted to No. 3 “M” Depot, Edmonton (Alta) on 27 April 1943. Reported to No. 7 I.T.S. at Saskatoon, Sask, on 20 May 1943. Post to No. 6 B & G, Mountain View, Ont. 3 September 1943. Qualified as an Air Bomber and Air Gunner then posted to No. 10 AOS, Chatham (NB) for training in navigation. Graduated and commissioned on 24 March 1944. On 22 April 1944, he was posted to No. 1 GRS, Summerside, PEI, for General Reconnaissance training. On 25 June 1944, No. 1 “Y” Depot Lachine, Quebec to await reposting to Nassau, Bahamas. - Date of Publication
