UPSTAIRS G Adventures has one of the highest quality operations in the Galapagos and is upgrading its fleet for 2013 with the acquisition of three 16-passenger motor yachts Daphne G3, San Jose G5 and Queen of the Galapagos G8. The upgrades have been made to provide an improved customer experience and to future-proof the fleet ahead of customer demand and new regulations. The new vessels have larger and more comfortable public spaces and will offer the best wildlife viewing and onboard service. Each of the new vessels caters to a slightly different market: the G3 is the most affordable standard-level option; the G5 is a comfort-level vessel and the G8 provides an even more deluxe experience. G Adventures will continue to use its Javier G4 comfort-level vessel, a firm customer favourite to makeup a fleet of 4 vessels. G Adventure's operation in the Galapagos is unique as the company only books customers on its own vessels. As well, the company staffs the vessels and employs its own naturalist guides, all of whom understand G Adventures core values and customer expectations. Itineraries for the new vessels include: a six-day Voyage Galapagos South Islands standard-level trip aboard Daphne G3 from Quito return; a seven-day Voyage Galapagos South Island comfort-level trip aboard San Jose G5 from Quito return and a 10-day Deluxe Galapagos-Northern Islands, or Deluxe Galapagos South Eastern Islands deluxe-level trip aboard Queen of Galapagos G8 from Quito return.
