Brother of Lindsay boy comes home Gnr. James C. Kelly arrived in Toronto on Friday evening, Jun 22nd, at 10.30 PM. The soldier enlisted with the Royal Canadian Artillery in March 1940 and went overseas in June of the same year, and he has been on Active Service Overseas for 5 years. He has a brother, Gnr. John Kelly of Lindsay, who is also overseas and expects to see him home soon. He is with the 45th Battery of the RCA. Gnrs. John and James Kelly are sons of Mr. G.L. Kelly and Mrs. Kelly of 67 Erskin Ave., Toronto.
The Post joins with his friends in the community in a “Welcome Home”.

- Gnr. John Kelly enlisted at Lindsay on 8 September 1939. He trained in Lindsay with the 45th Bty at Petawawa. He went overseas in November 1941 and was stationed in England as of April 1944.
